Warranty

Duration of the 2-Year Warranty: Batteries, parts, and labor

Under the warranty, Evolve covers the cost of parts replacement as well as labor costs. However, the warranty only covers defects related to a manufacturing issue and not misuse.

Below is a non-exhaustive list of issues not covered by the warranty:

  • Drive belt breakage: This is a wear part that needs to be changed regularly.
  • Wear of wheel rubbers or tires: These are wear parts that need to be changed regularly.
  • Deck breakage: A slightly high jump, a slightly heavy rider, and a bad landing, and crack... the deck is broken. This is considered extreme use which is not covered, as decks are tested to be very strong, but not unbreakable...
  • Remote control breakage: A fall, the remote is thrown against the ground, and the plastic casing is broken... Even if this can happen, it is not covered by the warranty.
  • Battery range reduction: You use your skateboard daily, charging it 1 to 2 times a day, and before the end of the warranty period, your range decreases. It's simply that you have reached a significant number of charge/discharge cycles, and your battery has lost range, nothing abnormal, it's time to replace it. However, if the range decreases by more than 30%, we will consider partial warranty coverage.
