Installation Guide for Straps on a Renegade Electric Skateboard
In this article, we will show you how to install the foot-straps on your electric skateboard Renegade (Electric mountainboard). Follow these steps to ensure proper assembly and optimal use of your board.
Necessary tools
- Standard screwdriver
- 4 mm Allen key
Content of the box
Take all the parts out of the box. You should have:
- 4 metal plates
- 2 foot-straps (foot attachments)
- 2 heel-straps (heel attachments)
- 8 screws to attach the straps to the skateboard
- 2 screws per heel-straps
1. Positioning of the Straps on the electric Skateboard
Natural placement: Place the board on the ground and stand on it to determine where your feet naturally land.
Marking positions: Take note of where the bindings should be installed, aligning the mounting holes with those of the board.
2. Installation of Foot-Straps (Foot-Straps)
Alignment: Align the first foot bracket with the corresponding mounting holes.
Attachment: Slide the metal retaining plates into the holes. Take a screw with its washer and screw it in using the 4 mm Allen key. Repeat the process with the second screw to securely fasten the bracket.
Repetition: Repeat the process on the other side of the bracket.
3. Installation of Heel-Straps
Preparation: Once the foot straps are attached, grab one of the heel straps and the two corresponding screws.
Attachment: Insert the screw into the small square hole of the foot strap. Tighten each side with the screwdriver to ensure a snug fit.
4. Adjustment and Final Setting of the Straps on the Electric Mountainboard
Ratchet adjustment: Use the ratchet to adjust the strap for your comfort. You have an additional adjustment with a ratchet on this side and a ratchet release on the other side to adjust the strap as you wish for the most comfortable position.
Repetition: Repeat the process for the other side of the board.
Test: Check that all fastenings are tight and that the straps are adjusted to your liking.
