The Stoke 2 is Evolve's urban skateboard, designed by the brand to be compact and responsive. It's also the most affordable model in our electric skateboard lineup. This board features an 85 cm deck, two 1,500 W motors, and a Power Flex battery that recharges in just one and a half to two hours. It rolls on 85 mm Orangatang Caguama wheels, available in three hardnesses. When you order, you can choose between the Sport Version or the Speed-Limited Version (25 km/h).
On private land: you can ride with or without speed limiting, as long as you have the owner's permission. On public roads: most countries have specific speed limits and equipment requirements you'll need to follow.
Helmet and Gear: Evolve mandates a helmet every time you ride their boards; it's a core brand rule. Other required gear varies by country and local regulations. Rules change, so always check the applicable regulations before you ride. If you're ever in doubt, just give us a call.

This 3,000 W urban electric skateboard offers a 15 km range and weighs 9.8 kg. It comes with three Orangatang Caguama wheel hardnesses, and you can choose between the 36 km/h Sport or 25 km/h Restricted versions.

Uses
This board is perfect for short urban commutes, city carving, smooth roads, and concrete. It's not designed for paths or dirt, as the setup is exclusively for street riding. For public roads, you must use the 25 km/h Restricted version, and always check your country's regulations.
Two Versions
You choose your version when you order. We set the speed limiting in the Phaze remote control before shipping, and we won't remove it after delivery because our liability is at stake.

The Stoke 2 kicks off our electric skateboard lineup, and it's the only model under €1,500. Evolve pitches it as a city skateboard, perfect for short commutes and carving. In contrast, the Stoke X cranks up to 6,000 W in a similar form factor, the GTR 2 Bamboo opens up all-terrain riding, and the Diablo range is built for serious distance. Each board caters to different desires.
The three Orangatang wheel hardnesses
On a skateboard wheel, a lower number indicates a softer rubber: 77a for blue, 80a for orange, and 83a for purple. Evolve offers all three for optimal grip and excellent comfort in urban environments, without designating one as superior. The 85 mm is also the maximum diameter; Evolve notes that anything larger will cause the wheel to touch the deck in tight turns.
What the advertised range is worth
Evolve advertises a range of up to 15 km per charge. Keep in mind this is a maximum, not an average; your actual range will vary with rider weight, elevation changes, and temperature. The trade-off is a full recharge in a quick one and a half to two hours. This makes it the fastest charging board in the Evolve lineup. If maximum range is your priority, check out the GTR 2 Bamboo or the Fusion, which both feature batteries two to three times larger.
What the warranty covers, and where
The warranty covers parts, battery, and labor for two years. We keep a full stock of the range on-site in Pornichet, including motors, controllers, batteries, Phaze remote, and truck components. This means a defective part can be replaced individually, without replacing the entire unit or experiencing import delays. We handle the entire process until your board is returned to you.

EVOLVE STOKE 2 FAQ
On Evolve boards, the speed limit is set in the Phaze remote control, not the board itself. The restricted version comes with a remote control set to 25 km/h. All four modes remain available. They change the responsiveness of acceleration and braking, but the speed remains capped regardless of the mode. The setting is applied before shipping, and we do not remove it after delivery.
Yes, this is our most popular first-time purchase. Evolve advertises an FOC controller that provides smooth, controlled acceleration and braking curves, plus a Phaze remote with a dual trigger. You do not have to ride in the fastest mode from day one.
The manufacturer's maximum range is 15 km, achieved under favorable conditions. This figure decreases with more re-accelerations, hills, or cold weather. Recharge time is about one and a half to two hours. You can ride again the same day.
No. Evolve does not offer an all-terrain kit for the Stoke 2. It comes with street wheels, no matter the version. For trail riding, consider the GTR 2 Bamboo or the Fusion, which we sell with both setups, or a model from the Diablo range.
No, and Evolve explicitly states this: due to its battery capacity, you cannot transport this board by plane. The threshold for lithium batteries refused on board is 160 Wh, including checked baggage. The Stoke 2's battery significantly exceeds this.
No, the Stoke 2 is not watertight. Evolve does not publish any watertightness rating for this model. Water damage is not covered by the warranty. Avoid rain, puddles, and jet washing. A damp cloth is sufficient for routine care.
In Pornichet. This is Evolve Europe's workshop, located in the building we share with them. You contact us, we open the case, and the board stays on site. It does not leave the city or Europe. The delay depends on part availability, not transport.
