DETAILED DESCRIPTION
The motor plug: a true standout feature.
First-generation motors had a fixed cable length. If you chose a 20 cm cable at purchase, you couldn't switch to a 70 cm efoil setup later without buying an entirely new motor. The v2 solves this with a waterproof plug. Now, the cable can be disconnected and replaced. The motor body has been extended by 10 mm to accommodate this, and the overall profile has been refined. This means you can mount it short on a wing mast, then switch to a longer setup for an efoil session, all with the same motor.
Standard or high power
The standard version covers common use. It's perfect for assisted take-off, re-acceleration, and light conditions. It suits most riders and most riding styles. The high-power version delivers more torque. This is useful for heavier riders, larger volumes, and extended efoil use. Both versions share the same plug, cables, and pods, leaving the door open for an upgrade later.
Mounts on almost all foils.
The motor alone isn't enough for attachment. However, when combined with universal motor pods and Foil Drive mast adapters, it attaches to almost all masts on the market. You keep your foil and simply add assistance to it. If you already own a hub, rotor, and propellers in good condition, the v2 stator is sold separately. This is a more cost-effective option than a complete set.

FAQ
Which cable length should you choose?
Your cable length depends on how high you mount the motor on the mast. Shorter cables, 15 to 25 cm, are for high mounts, which are typical for wing and Surf setups. The 60 and 70 cm cables are for efoil configurations, placing the motor closer to the fuselage. The included 20 cm cable works for most mounts and you can swap it out in seconds.
Standard or high power?
The standard motor is enough for most uses: getting out of displacement, re-accelerating, and riding in light conditions. High power gives you extra torque, which is ideal if you're over 90 kg, riding voluminous boards, or using your efoil for extended sessions. Both motors use the same cables and pods.
What else do you need for installation?
You'll need a motor pod and a mast adapter that fits your foil, plus an Assist MAX or Slim case and its battery. The motor alone doesn't attach directly to a mast.
