The Ride Engine Saber V3 2024 is Ride Engine's waist harness with an intermediate flex shell, designed with the same shape data as the Elite Carbon but in a softer composite. Ride Engine gives it more torsion than the Elite Carbon and the Lyte. This means more freedom of movement. The brand particularly recommends it for riders with shorter torsos or less pronounced lumbar curves. It is intended for kitesurf and windsurf. Size XL, Black Magic color, spreader bar sold separately.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION
A more flexible shell than the Elite Carbon
The Saber V3 incorporates the shape data of the Elite Carbon, Ride Engine's rigid harness, but uses an injected composite shell that is more flexible, which the brand calls SES. This results in more torsion than the Elite Carbon and the Lyte. This allows your back to follow movements better. Lumbar support is still ensured by the Lumbar Lock. Ride Engine recommends it for riders with shorter torsos or less pronounced back arches who find rigid shells too restrictive.
The Unity system
The Saber V3 closes with Unity Ladder-Lock straps and is compatible with the Unity spreader bar, which is sold separately. You can choose from a fixed hook, a Mega Spreader Bar version, a windsurf version, or convert it to rope with the Unity Sliding Rope kit. Ride Engine advises that the correct bar width allows the straps to close between 1.5 and 4.5 inches. The ideal range is 2.5 to 3.5 inches.
Comfort and features
The interior combines Fusion Memory Foam with a full neoprene wrap. An inner belt keeps the harness in place. It includes a pocket for your hook knife. For your kite leash, the Saber V3 offers both a handle pass and a front attachment.
Choosing your size
Ride Engine measures waist circumference at the navel. For XL, their chart indicates 107 to 109 cm with a 12-inch bar, and 109 to 112 cm with a 14-inch bar. If you're unsure between two sizes, come and try it on at the store.
