DETAILED DESCRIPTION
A Stabilizer That Prioritizes Glide
The Monobloc Tail H has a clear focus: it prioritizes glide and directional stability over playfulness or pure speed. Duotone designed it for downwind and parawing, with freefly wing foil riders in mind. Compared to a turn-oriented stabilizer, it offers less responsiveness but significantly more efficiency and calm.
The Monobloc Construction
The tail and stabilizer are crafted as a single piece, eliminating any joints. This removes an interface, which means no source of drag or parasitic flex. Power transmission becomes direct, and the response is sharper. It's the same principle as with a Front Wing: the fewer parts between your foot and the water, the clearer the feedback.
A 9.3 Aspect Ratio
The stabilizer is long and thin. It features a 9.3 aspect ratio on both sizes. A high aspect ratio at the rear reduces induced drag and improves overall efficiency. This lets you stay in flight longer, connect with swells easily, and experience less fatigue during long downwind sessions.
Developed for the Glide Range
Duotone engineered this tail specifically for the Glide 3.0, Hyperglide, and Amp 2.0 wings. The harmony between the Front Wing and the stabilizer dictates the final behavior: a poorly matched stabilizer negates the benefits of a good wing. It also boosts pumping and glide performance for the Crest range.
The 3BS+ Connection
The 3BS+ system, with its fourth screw, maximizes pitch stability and control while maintaining direct and connected sensations. For a glide-oriented setup, where you want to avoid constant correction, the stiffness of the connection is as crucial as the geometry.
Choosing Between 130 and 150
Both sizes share the same 9.3 aspect ratio. The 130 cm² mounts on a 43 cm tail. This results in a 34.8 cm wingspan; the 150 cm² mounts on a 40 cm tail for a 37.4 cm wingspan. More surface area provides stability and lift at low speeds, while less surface area enhances handling. The attachment to the D/LAB Front Wing uses an M6 x 25 screw, tightened to 10 Nm, which is included in the screw set.

FAQ - DUOTONE MONOBLOC TAIL H D/LAB 2027
This is for the downwind and parawing rider, as well as the freefly wing foiler, who wants to maintain flight and a stable course. This is not a tight-turning stabilizer; it is a performance stabilizer.
The 150 cm² provides more stability and lift at low speeds. This is useful for downwind and with large Front Wings. The 130 cm² frees up handling. Tell us which Front Wing you are mounting; it dictates the choice.
It is developed for the Glide 3.0, Hyperglide, and Amp 2.0. It also improves the pumping and glide of the Crest range. It mounts to a D/LAB Front Wing.
It's about the riding style. The H has an aspect ratio of 9.3. It's for glide and downwind. It's also for freefly. The F has an aspect ratio of 6.5, with a surface area of 165 cm² over 37 cm. It's for freestyle: pop, re-pop, and front foot pressure.
